Katrina’s Floods Churches Drowned, Prayers Unanswered [ The last words of known atheist falling off a high cliff precipice : " Oh my God ! " . ]

Christianity , the Catholic Church , universal belief in God survived the Black Death , the Great Plague of the 14th century . It does seem that the horrors of every day life, for more than 2000 years now, only intensify religious instincts and the feeling of the " Vanity of Human Wishes ". The Roman Catholic Church has evolved a virtual theology of suffering . It is not likely that the New Atheism Cult evangelists will ever have the success of the 12 apostles of Jesus : " I will be with you to the end of time ". Indeed, what we are seeing before our eyes in our times is not the " End of Faith " but " The End of Science " . No cathedral of atheism, with a high priest of the Big Bang ministry , will ever be erected over " God Particle " track relics . " God failed to protect Christians " ? These are effete , sophomoric arguments against the Christian God . I am sure that Catholic " Doctors of the Church " Saint Augustine and Saint Thomas Aquinas were familiar with them. The " City of God " remains . Every week millions around the world flock to Sunday mass . How many flock to the vacuous lectures of the New Atheist Cult evangelists ? The last words of known atheist falling off a high cliff precipice : " Oh my God ! . Then his fade to black Dantesque " vision of Hell " ( He did read " Inferno " in a college English class )
