Why do the SMART people in " OUR democracy " believe in capitalism , American imperialism , and Israeli Zionism ? It is safer for professional scholars, journalists , public school teachers , scientists to display critical thinking about traditional religious beliefs than to voice criticism of social evil . Oddly enough, only the WOKE WARRIOR Democrats are enthusiastic about dethroning the Lord , about mocking belief in God and religion in general. Oddly enough , in Israel , I read , militant atheists are more respectful . The New Atheism Cult is not popular there.
