And their professed faith in SCIENCE is a bit ludicrous : SCIENCE and SCIENTISTS, for more than a century now, have been corrupted by global capitalism and by the military industrial complex . We shall see " The End of Science " before " The End of Faith " ! These NEW Atheists have a right wing political agenda. They are closer ideologically to the militant atheist and belligerent ZIONIST Jew , right wing philosopher Ayn Rand than to the humanist atheists like Isaac Asimov and Carl Sagan who were decidedly on the Left politically .
