I am a great believer in the benefits of walking . In fact , I have just returned from a 50 minute night walk. But I am getting turned off by " science " news where everything is hyped , every researcher in every field has just made a mind boggling -indeed REVOLUTIONARY -discovery. I suspect SCIENCE -once thought incorruptible - has been corrupted in the past few decades by manic FOR PROFIT capitalism. The VOICE of Public Health Science for me now has as much credibility as a late night 1990s Kevin Trudeau TV infomercial. " Science " is doing nothing to correct all the false and dangerous TV and radio advertising for prescription drugs . And for non-prescription CHARLATAN products like PREVAGEN and NAVAGE . We live in the Golden Age of False Advertising. So " SEE YOUR DOCTOR " and inform HIM about the latest miracle drug as advertised on NBC News. You can trust Lester Holt's show , can't you ? No more than you can trust YOUR doctor ! The REAL voice of science has been muzzled for years now.
