Soon the desperate migrants will show their metaphorical DARWINIAN claws

As a whole this wealthy country of 350+ million ( ? ) can at least modestly accommodate even a flood of desperate migrants. The collective resources are there for them just as for homeless US citizens. In general , the CAPITALIST structure of " OUR democracy " makes it all but impossible to deal with assorted catastrophes. Legally sacrosanct landlord -capitalist PRIVATE PROPERTY right is the chief obstacle to decently caring for the homeless. Are HOMO SAPIENS a different species when they challenge often artificial nation-state borders ? From a purely DARWINIAN point of view no living creatures respect passable boundaries. Nowhere will a MILLION homeless human beings just let themselves perish from neglect , starvation , and hostility. They will begin to show their metaphorical DARWINIAN claws. Sadly HUMAN society is not sufficiently SOCIALIZED ! [ and most of these mostly young migrants can indeed WORK FOR A LIVING ! ] Show less
