Try explaining the homeless problem USA with no reference to CAPITALISM

As a longtime independent socialist I know the capitalist TWO PARTY SYSTEM will never dare explain just why the homeless people crisis in the United States will never be debated in the mainstream news media with anything resembling CRITICAL THINKING skills. The people NOT TO BE HARMED in dealing with growing numbers of homeless are none other than the capitalist-landlord class. Their arrogant PRIVATE PROPERTY RIGHTS is just what keeps the homeless people homeless. So clueless are these " compassionate " , " progressive " Democrats that they won't even recommend RENT CONTROL just as a start. I recall " liberal " Democrats in Rhode Island talking in the same way about the homeless problem way back to 1980 , the beginning of the Reagan Era. In the mid 60s the American socialist writer Michael Harrington attracted attention to dire poverty in the USA with his book " The Other America ". Much earlier in the century a grim illustrated book was published titled " How the Other Half Lives ". There were some significant reforms in the Progressive Era and the New Deal Era . But the big picture of poverty in America has not changed much. It sickens me to see how the Democratic Party of FDR and JFK has degenerated into the WOKE-WARRIOR party today. But fundamentally flawed is the capitalist TWO PARTY SYSTEM. It does not promote the FREE SPEECH, FREE THOUGHT tradition of Western Civilization.
