You would think that this " left-leaning media " was just super sensitive to the evils of racism and the Black slavery of the Old South . And always hinting at the need for " reparations ". Do they ever focus attention on modern capitalist WAGE SLAVERY ? Why this truncated sensitivity in recognizing social injustice ? Most Black people today in the United States are very working class WAGE SLAVES -just as are most ordinary Americans. Do these oh-so-WOKE liberals in the Democratic Party have a plan to end WAGE SLAVERY ? Are they appalled by CAPITALIST exploitation and oppression ? Are they students of Karl Marx ? Thinking about REPARATIONS for the horrors of the New England Industrial Revolution ? In his classic " Condition of the Working Class in England ", Engels way back 1844 argued that in many ways the white working class [ here he was talking about the Irish working class in Manchester, England ] was worse off than the black slaves of the Old South .
