As a longtime independent democratic socialist I have read quite a lot about the nature of FASCISM and of fascist movements. My good friends and neighbors and family members who favored Donald Trump and conservative Republicans in the presidential elections of 2016 and 2020 definitely do not qualify as storm trooper " deplorables ". Are white CHRISTIANS consigned to Hillary's " white trash " list ?
It does seem that the WOKE " progressive " Democrats are closer to "ANTI-FA " FASCISM than ordinary working class Americans fed up with totalitarian IDENTITY POLITICS.
Are conservative Republicans presently censoring ANTI-WAR views ( how many working class CHRISTIANS are slobbering over " sovereign " Ukraine and its war mongering NATO puppet Zelensky ? ) on social media and the mainstream news media ? For decades now the " liberal " Democrats have been scorning the FREE SPEECH , FREE THOUGHT tradition of Western Civilization. What a whiff of " OUR democracy " Joe Biden's administration is giving the country !
