A CATASTROPHE OF HUMAN MIGRATION
What is happening in the 21st century with the nation state structure of global capitalism falling apart is a CATASTROPHE OF HUMAN MIGRATION. No national borders can stop the MARCH OF HUNGER & DESPERATION.
It may sound UTOPIAN but the ONLY solution is summed up in the phrase SOCIALIST INTERNATIONALISM.
How can anyone with an Italo-American Catholic background not identify with these frightened , mostly Spanish speaking migrants ? I recall reading " The Children of Sanchez " by Oscar Lewis some years ago.
