Inspiration from H.G. Wells novel " History of Mr. Polly "

Steve a passage in H.G. Wells novel " The History Of Mr. Polly " reminds me of a reference I made in phone conversation with you on " Little Honey " Isabella : In brief Mr. Polly in turn of the century Great Britain is a burnt-out , frustrated , very unhappy, on the brink of ruin , petty-bourgeois shop keeper. Also miserable with wife and family, he day dreams of NATURE BOY adventures. One day he actually does it - DROPS OUT and heads for the idyllic English countryside . Thinking : " Neither had he worried about business nor about times and seasons ... " For the first time in many years he had been leading a healthy human life, living constantly in the open air, walking every day for eight or nine hours, accepting every conversational opportunity ... He had done no real work at all " . " And for the first time in his life he had seen the AURORA BOREALIS ". [ remember that , Isabella ! ] " There is only one sort of man who is absolutely to blame for his own misery, and that is the man WHO FINDS LIFE DULL AND DREARY ". Love to all, Ron Image: The History of Mr. Polly by H.G. Wells GOOGLE.COM Image: The History of Mr. Polly by H.G. Wells Found on Google from www.goodreads.com
