Many conservative thinkers have opposed Marxist ideology since Joseph Stalin turned " communist " Russia into a totalitarian, godless nightmare back in the Moscow Trial Days of the 1930s .
But 100 years after the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution - " Ten Days that Shook The World " - there is much plain ignorance about Marxism and very little understanding of how Stalin and his gang betrayed the principles and high idealism of the early years of the revolution.
More than a century later -and with a post- communist Russia - " Marxism " is equated with the grotesque " identity politics " and " political correctness " intolerance of the Democratic Party. And vicious RACIAL POLITICS replaces CLASS STRUGGLE agendas.
Back in the 1930s a self -respecting Marxist could give critical support to FDR and his New Deal . But in 2020 no real Marxist and no honest democratic socialist can support the Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, a pillar of the ONE PERCENT Establishment and a tool of the sinister capitalist , imperialist Deep State.
As a long time DEMOCRATIC socialist - like the late Erich Fromm influenced by both Marxism and Freud and religious humanism- I can only hope that the mainstream news media will give some voice to " MINORITY REPORT " socialists not pimping for phony Democrats .
