The Democratic Party is more and more STALINIST in manners and morals .
As an independent democratic socialist I opposed the Kafkaesque Trump impeachment circus from the beginning. TRUTH matters as it does not matter on Chris Hedges' " Truthdig " web site or on various sectarian Marxist-Leninist-Trotskyist web sites. The generic Left now has no use for FREE SPEECH, FREE THOUGHT tradition of Western Civilization. It has growing contempt even for the fundamental principle of democracy: majority rule through fair elections. Picture these elitist snobs leading a mass movement ? They are intellectual thugs right out of the Russian novel " The Possessed " by Dostoevsky .
