As a lifelong, independent democratic socialist I can only offer a sardonic smile at " moderate " Democrats who measure extremism in units of " socialist " Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren . This is like comparing a " Shirley Temple " mixed drink with vintage Russian VODKA ! The real thing being the socialism of the American Eugene V. Debs who more than a century ago( read his famous Canton Speech ) condemned the TWO PARTY SYSTEM of plutocrat rule .
Sanders and Warren have hardly begun to condemn rotting American capitalism and the military industrial complex, to condemn the HATE RUSSIA , New McCarthyism lunacy among " moderate " Democrats . This fueled the Kafkaesque Trump impeachment circus . Along with blind pro-Zionist Apartheid Israel loyalty so evident in the Ukraine -Trump -impeachment hearings. How many working class Americans lose sleep over events in the Ukraine - a second Israel ?
Could Trump actually be THE lesser evil in 2020 ?
