Bernie Sanders has been ridiculed on local talk radio for saying that prisoners - whatever their crime - should have the right to vote . For the right wing news media crowd this was just another striking example of dumb " leftism " heading off a cliff into the SOCIALIST abyss below.
Bernie is at best a very compromised " socialist " . But here he makes great sense. VOTING prisoners are a check on the outrageous injustice of the American Gulag.
