The pathological fixation of hard core Democrats on " The Russia Investigation " makes them all comparable to the Cold War fanatics, the McCarthyists and the John Birchers of " The Haunted Fifties " ( I.F. Stone's book title ) .
How many " progressive " Democrats are shouting " HANDS OF VENEZUELA ! " ... " FAIR PLAY FOR VENEZUELA ! ?
And I see from my decidedly LEFT political perch that the fanatical Democrats have made every day a crisis of legitimacy for President Trump . Russia did not alter the vote count in the 2016 presidential election . Was THEIR propaganda less honest than the " special interests " within the United States ? Was it more persuasive than the New York Times and the vociferous Israel lobby ( who clearly favored Hillary Clinton ) ?
