Thank you. The TRUTH about any conflict is shady enough to justify NOT being a blind fanatic for any cause. I recall American pop philosopher Eric Hoffer's " True Believer ".
But TRUTH about Zionist Israel is simply on display in wretched Palestine.
In his " Personal History " legendary American journalist Vincent Sheehan explains how way back in the 1930s he started out as very pro-Zionist . Then after observing the conflict there between Arabs and Jews dramatically revised his positive opinion of Zionism . Had the Nazis set an example for settler Jews, Sheehan wondered.
Of course Israel -like Germany - has a right to exist but not as a RACIST state.
I am very disturbed by seemingly monolithic opinion of Israel among American Jews. Healthy American " patriotism " is not idolatrous and belligerent toward other nation states . Should not Jewish " nationalism " be the same ?
