The most " subversive " place in capitalist America is still (for
many on the left ) the PUBLIC LIBRARY. You can still find books
written by great socialist revolutionaries ( on the right , even
Hitler's " Mein Kampf " is still on the shelves ). But what if these
public libraries - acting like GOOGLE - began to delete " Trotsky ", "
Lenin ", " Marx " form their old fashioned or on line catalogue ?
Those precious guides to working class education would gather dust- "
discovered " only by the exceptionally curious and impishly subversive
free spirits.
It is not futile for the World Socialist Web
Site to challenge GOOGLE . There is such a thing even in capitalist
society as TRUTH IN ADVERTISING . A search engine that does not honestly
SEARCH is a public fraud.
Somehow revolution ends up triumphing over the ruling ideas - the ideas of the ruling class, the ideas promoted by the mainstream communications media.
