I agree with the writer about that " environmental friendly " turbine generator at Salty Brine Beach. Solar power there would be less in- your- face obnoxious. But there is no pristine innocence in the very NAME of the beach : it was changed from the beautiful sounding Biblical name of Galilee. The Old Salt was no doubt a fine person to those people who knew him in private life. But as a radio celebrity - like most radio and TV celebrities in Rhode Island - Salty Brine was a symbol of noisy shallow commercialism .
