Bashing Catholic Church leaders has become the malicious hobby of the New Atheists-even if most of their energy goes to promoting Islamophobia.
It is rather ridiculous to ridicule the often ridiculed Bishop Thomas Tobin for being Catholic Bishop Tobin.
How many charitable activities are organized by the New Atheists ? They are oblivious to the humane social philosophy of Pope Francis . And why ? Because they are mostly capitalist loving libertarians.
I suspect that arrogant " political correctness " inspired Bishop Tobin to register himself as a Rhode Island Republican - a venial sin.
