Is FREE SPEECH really possible in a capitalist society ?

Speaking on the same topic WPRO radio celebrity Gene Valicenti made the same point : that your free speech ends at your employer's door. Does that even apply to mainstream newspapers -like the Providence Journal ?

               Common sense is a good guide as to when to speak your mind. Ordinary decency inclines you not to hurt feelings of diverse individuals . But the big picture confirms the Marxist view : the ruling ideas are the ideas of the ruling class. The OWNERS are few, the WORKERS are many. How is FREE SPEECH really possible in a capitalist society ? Ask an unemployed journalist.
