As a democratic socialist I can only deplore that death of the spirit of 60s Free Speech Movement among today's neo-liberal Democrats - at war with both New Deal ideals and objective reality.

 What makes them fear FREE SPEECH and FREE THOUGHT so much ? I suspect it is their own intellectual bankruptcy: brains frozen in the absurd belief that effete " identity politics " is the key to understanding all social justice mysteries. 

They could all use a dose of Marxian CLASS analysis.

The candidate Jon Ossoff is a quintessential neo-liberal Democrat - in the Obama , Clinton wing of the Democratic Party. This wing thinks that effete " identity politics " and MONEY ( a lot of support from the Zionist lobby ) can get them all back into power by 2018.

But the neo-Democrats are now completely out of touch with the American working class. And their embrace of the HATE RUSSIA New McCarthyism will soon get us into another horrendous, endless, and unpopular war.

Well, you can't blame this most expensive and " demoralizing " defeat on Vladimir Putin !

And working class SOCIALISTS have no use for Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren: " progressive " war mongers and friends of Wall St.   -- just like " Hawk Hillary ".
