I was browsing through a favorite art book and happened across this stunning sculpture of an Iranian (Persian) man created 3000 years ago!
The caption is timely as it describes the essence of the Iranian people which we’re witnessing today.
“Here is an unknown man, centuries remote from us, yet he still confronts us with imperishable dignity, and assures us of the indestructibility of the human spirit.”
