With 250 years comes a plethora of ephemera related to this great nation’s founding and growth. In honor, the Internet Archive has curated a list of materials documenting major milestones for the US—including the Declaration of Independence, past memorabilia created for the nation’s anniversaries, and more contemporary projects intended to capture and preserve the materials published by democracies. Using scientific reasoning, Albert Henry Munsell used Color Tree and Color Sphere models to showcase a new way of viewing complimentary colors, color terminology and grammar and variation in hues.
