War is a function of society's ruling class. This war of American imperialism and Israeli Zionism on the people of Iran in no way represents the will or interests of the American working class and lower middle class. As a longtime independent democratic socialist I am amazed that Trump could gather a dozen working class CHRISTIAN Americans - not hopelessly stupid, brutal,and ignorant - for a BOOTS ON THE GROUND operation against Iran.
