In capitalist USA for immigrant and migrant families and for the poor in general life has not changed much since American socialist writer Upton Sinclair wrote" The Jungle " at the turn of the 20th century.For me living on modest social security income in Cranston Rhode life is precarious but not nearly as destitute.
