Even way back in the time of Moses there were blatant contradictions in PRIVATE PROPERTY rights. Clearly they were not meant to completely ruin and subjugate the poor. Not a few Old Testament prophets,like Amos, speak out against neglect and abuse of the poor. And way back then -long before the capitalist " Industrial Revolution " PRIVATE PROPERTY could be associated with the " fruit of one's own labor " . In this century can the PRIVATE PROPERTY of Donald Trump . Bill Gates, Elon Musk , the parade of the American plutocracy be rationally connected to the fruit of THEIR labor ? In everyday life I , a longtime independent democratic socialist , can respect the PRIVATE PROPERTY of even very rich people. While they might have a dubious claim to ownership ( based on the exploitation of the working class ) I myself have no claim on THEIR wealth . The just division of wealth is a SOCIAL question and can only be decided collectively ( why does " collectivism " sound so odious to our ruling class ? ) . Without any need for CLASS WAR at all the maldistribution of WEALTH can be corrected in " OUR democracy " by an American Labor Party-like the British Labor Party but less stuffy and compromised . The members of the plutocracy are not punished and do not suffer at all . They must now live on LESS but still EQUAL to all other citizens. Their outstanding talent can be employed in the MANAGEMENT of socialized wealth
