Religion is NOT destroying our civilization. For centuries the Roman Catholic Church PRESERVED Western Civilization. What IS destroying our civilization is GLOBAL CAPITALISM, AMERICAN IMPERIALISM, and ISRAELI ZIONISM. Nuclear World War III will destroy our civilization quicker than effete Christian or Islamic fundamentalism. Our employed- or under-employed- scientists and scholars of Academia - supposedly devoted to the golden ideals of LOGIC & REASON & TRUTH- never recommend this to their paymasters in the military-industrial complex, in the Pentagon , in Corporate America, or even on the college campuses . Hurling intellectual bricks at harmless fleas they are determined to destroy not CAPITALISM , not MILITARISM , not TOXIC NATIONALISM but the innocent FAITH IN GOD of the world's billions of Catholics, Protestants , religious Jews, people of the Islamic faith. That will get their names , they think , on the walls of the MENSA HALL OF FAME ! A little something on the journey FROM HERE TO ETERNITY !
