Thinking a little more deeper about DEATH,Steve,  I imagine it is more like going back to MOTHER womb.It was not in YOUR beginning experienced as a cold or hot,lonely or pandemonic ,very dark place. You did not even have to worry about your own existence. You were actually sublimely CONTENT. At DEATH Holy Mother Universe just prepares us for the next stage of the LIFE cycle.And you are never ALONE in COSMIC HORROR. We human souls are ALL with THE ONE.And if  the GREAT IT smells like anything it smells like SPRING TIME again. Paint that Hans Holbeine!
