The obnoxious New Atheist Cult evangelists are obsessed with bashing Christianity and religious FAITH in general. BILLIONS of people in the world today still believe in a good God and a transcendent meaning to LIFE. As a long time independent democratic socialist ( and pre-Vatican II Old Catholic type ) the New Atheists would surprise me if they applied their extraordinary ( ? ) powers of REASON and CRITICAL THINKING to rotten and evil CAPITALISM, AMERICAN IMPERIALISM, and ISRAELI ZIONISM. Karl Marx did say somewhere : " To every dog his master is divine " . How many professional intellectuals and scientists dare not suggest that their paymasters in the capitalist government and in the global plutocracy are not all there, not quite RATIONAL human beings ? What type of individual can the New Atheist Cult roadshow convert ? Most likely a small number of snobby petty bourgeois neurotics , what the late great genius Isaac Asimov himself described as " MENSA IQ proud " phony narcissists . After all , what can be more self- debasing than not thinking that YOU are the SUPREME BEING in this world ?
