Listening to this music while recalling Friend Dave in a fancy rented car yesterday trying on those fancy blue boots that he must have purchased in an antique store last year.He asked me how his dyed brown very thinning hair looked.He recalled some comic sexual adventure 20 years ago when he was wearing an expensive wig.Driving over the Mount Hope Bridge to Newport ,looking down at the turbulent water some 500 feet below he said the bridge was probably unsafe and would probably collapse one day while he was driving over it.How quickly can you die from the crash into the frigid ocean water? He said he had two rum cokes at a bar the other night and it just made him feel sick, about to throw up. He had to try to avoid all things sweet as he was now a borderline diabetic. Before dropping me off at my Cranston Housing apartment, I took out a twenty dollar bill from my wallet,wished him Happy Birthday and suggested he buy two rum cokes and an ice cream sunday on me.Later he called me to say he could not stay too long at the bar meet- up- group because his boots were too tight and hurting an already injured possibly infected ankle.Friend Dave just got an eviction notice from Arlington Public Housing.But in court he says he will insist that the management owes him money.Dave is related by marriage to the Alpert family after whom Brown University Medical School is named.His aunt Gracie left all her money to the school( for brain research ) and has her name on a wall there .To Dave's chagrin.He had me check out Providence Probate records to see if she left him any money.The lawyer report mentioned Dave but said they could not locate him. At the time he was living in that broken down old Lincoln Town Car in Chicago.He had grown up in the affluent Jewish neighborhood of Glencoe.Next to the billionaire Pritzker family.He went to high school with two of the family, a boy and a girl ,and said they were stupid.
