Good for nothing local politicians fail to notice vehicle traffic dangers to pedestrians in Rhode Island

[ Who is the jackass censor who scratched over " Greater Providence area " ?] The major cities of Rhode Island mostly in the Greater Providence area are very PEDESTRIAN UNFRIENDLY. Everywhere poorly lit stretches of road with few or no crosswalks for pedestrians. A regular " Walker In the City " I observe this neglect almost daily. Also when you are at a busy crosswalk and finally get the blinking WALK sign , turning cars nearly run you over AT THE CROSSWALK. This happens to me frequently on my way to the Cranston Public Library at the corner of Pontiac Ave. and Sockanosset Rd. near " Brewed Awakenings ". Our ALL FOR THE PEOPLE local politicians fail to notice these dangers. In fact , from the point of view of ordinary people in Rhode Island , they are good for nothing.
