Behind most senseless police brutality is the role capitalist society assigns to the " thin blue line ". Rather than protecting " civilization " the police in capitalist society must first of all protect the PRIVATE PROPERTY capital of the ruling class. And often enough " Officer Friendly " does it with pit bull ferocity always loyal to THE MASTER class.
This fundamental role of the police -well understood by socialists for nearly two centuries-not entrenched RACISM -is behind these heinous crimes against HUMANITY.
The TWO PARTY SYSTEM will never DEFUND THE POLICE. But neither would a SOCIALIST government. A socialist regime would replace police with a FORCE organized to protect the interests of working class people. The pit bulls of PRIVATE PROPERTY will always be vicious and dangerous enemies of the people.
