As a longtime independent democratic socialist I can only have a rather ironic view of these incidents of MOB theft. We always said that MASS ACTION is the way to go. MASS ACTION works. You do not need to be deprived forever of the good things in life. The WEALTH of the capitalist class is based on your exploitation and oppression- not on THEIR brains and hard work. But this sort of MASS ACTION is quickly self-defeating. SOCIETY must be reorganized in the interests of the majority of people. What WE need is a third party ,an independent American Labor Party, a lot like the British Labor Party but not so well mannered. Also, in the transition period there can be no defunding of the police. Social justice is incompatible with anarchy.
