To think that animals in general have no real FEELINGS is just plain unscientific

To think that mammals in general have no FEELINGS ( they are just biological automatons ? ) is actually as unscientific as it is cruel . Charles Darwin showed in scrupulous detail in his " Origin of the Species " that the human brain has so many connections ( definite emotional centers , for example ) to any mammalian brain. We have both AFFECTION & SUFFERING in common .
