There is not one " progressive " Democrat speaking out for world peace.

Naturally as a longtime independent democratic socialist I note that candidates for RI General Treasurer - whatever their professional background and good character- never - the job itself demands that they don't dare- think outside the box of FOR PROFIT capitalism, think outside of capitalist economic relationships . Seth Magaziner - no matter how much he declares himself a fighter for the working class - takes this CAPITALIST mentality shaped by the very JOB of Treasurer - into the Congress of the United States. How can honest people with some higher education talk about homelessness, for example , without any reference to the economic SYSTEM of capitalism ? It is clearly the institution of sacrosanct landlord PRIVATE PROPERTY right that keeps millions ( ? ) homeless . How can honest politicians talk about the now very belligerent American foreign policy while pretending to be oblivious of the history of American imperialism ? Way back in 1966 I was reading Senator J.William Fullbright's " The Arrogance of Power ". It certainly had some influence on the growing Vietnam anti-war movement. There is not one " progressive " Democrat speaking out for world peace . No, not even that fake " socialist " Bernie Sanders.
