Is it really deplorable prejudice for the Providence Journal to bring more attention to an already well advertised name- WISE GUYS - for a food establishment on Federal Hill in Providence- or just ribald humor? Italian-Americans are so well established and respected in Rhode Island ( all the Italo-American politicians, business people, artists, musicians here. No need to be uptight over non-malicious ethnic pokes. Secure people don't hold grudges for very long . If you feel that " LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL " you can get along with just about everybody. My Ruggieri family has Federal Hill roots: our grandparents Ludovico and Andrianna Ruggieri lived at 62 Gesler St. for nearly 50 years. I still smell her gravy coming up those old, dank smelling wooden stairs to the second floor apartment- a long , long time ago
