Phony " liberal " Democrats do have a tin ear in the matter of LISTENING to the public on the complex issues of abortion, late term abortion and outright " infanticide ". You have to be among the living dead to think that the gloomy abortion right is anything to cheer about. It is pure sophistry to argue against the humanity of the fetus even in the early stages. SCIENCE refutes you. But the Christian Right ignores this equally gloomy truth: there is no RIGHT TO LIFE under capitalism. The Catholic Church is historically soft on the death penalty. Always a priest around to " bless " an execution. In the USA it shamelessly supports idolatrous " Americanism " and imperialism. Their chaplain corps just greases the Pentagon war crimes machine. As for Governor Ralph Northam's unmasked racism , it seems like a staged smear campaign in the spirit of the # MeToo mob and the fanatics of " identity politics " in the Democratic Party. Some black careerists will benefit from it. What politician 's reputation can survive such scrutiny going back 30 or 40 years ? Since when do moronic theatrics link anybody to the KKK or malevolent fascist groups ? Not for nothing the Nazis were soft on infanticide : it made for racial " purity ".
