What you will never get from any of these mainstream news media puffed up " progressive " Democrats - including Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders - is a systemic criticism of the American capitalist system and the imperialist foreign policy that follows from it.
They offer their egocentric virtuous selves as THE solution to a nasty structural economic problem. For true democratic socialists LEGITIMATE wealth is a fair target. Only exploitation and oppression by the capitalist ruling class, in effective control of the STATE, can create - and brutally protect this extreme social inequality.
The American working class has no quarrel with Russia, China , North Korea , Iran , certainly not tiny Venezuela ( which now makes us recall the fate of Chile under " Marxist " Salvador Allende ) . The American working class has no friend or ally in Apartheid Israel.
Let any " progressive " Democrat reflect on this . There is no way to un-corrupt capitalism.
