From the perspective of democratic socialism Judge Neil Gorsuch is no
worse-and no better- than any Supreme Court candidate the Hillary
Democrats- now a neo-con war party - would recommend.
True enough, vicious " identity politics " has undermined religious freedom in America. Ask any " deplorable " working class Catholic- so despised as benighted by the DNC ( see Wiki Leaks ).
How can any conservative reference a Charles Dickens novel and not see that Dickens' humanity and social reform zeal is not reflected in our pro-capitalist legal system , our prisons, or the bipartisan attacks on working class Americans ?
" A Tale of Two Cities " is all about wrathful revolutionary revenge. The socialist writer George Orwell was correct in seeing Charles Dickens as the best of " liberal " reformers. I doubt if Dickens could identify with the neo-liberals who have destroyed the Democratic Party.
And would not democratic socialism with its " popular democracy " just abolish the Supreme Court ?
