Lovecraft biographer S.T.
Joshi has written fairly and cogently about Lovecraft's racist streak -
for which he should not be uniquely ostracized .
I completely support
the H.P. Lovecraft statue project. What matters to me is his political
evolution ( seen in his LETTERS ) into a moderate socialist.
DNC based " identity politics " is becoming increasingly vacuous and vicious. RACE and GENDER are not the keys to understanding all social inequality mysteries.
These " liberals " can profit by
reading the cynical H. L. Mencken too ( also smeared as a racist,
anti-Semite ). The 2016 presidential election in the United States would
have only " amused " Mr. Mencken.
