             I was always to the Left of  the Democratic Party and the Providence Journal , and frequently to the  Left of the sectarian Marxist Left.  But what annoys me is how the present day Providence Journal can mainstream an ILLIBERAL LIBERAL thug like Congressman David Cicilline - here in Rhode Island leading the charge for the HATE TRUMP, IMPEACH TRUMP HATE RUSSIA  New McCarthyism. Daily the New Democrats undermine respect for the FREE SPEECH , FREE THOUGHT tradition of Western Civilization.

As a longtime democratic socialist I can testify that there is no monolithic LEFT utterly stupefied by Kafkaesque intrigues against a president definitely LEGITIMATE by the existing and accepted Constitution of the United States . " Obstruction of justice " demands a named CRIME . And reckless accusations of TREASON make so many " progressive " Democrats sound like McCarthy Era , Cold War Era John Birch Society fanatics . Coming from bastions of LIBERALISM the HATE RUSSIA, New McCarthyism sounds strange indeed. Check out LIBERAL family trees : Today's ILLIBERAL LIBERALS were yesterday 's Stalinist " friends of the Soviet Union ". The LIBERAL Democrats are rediscovering their old Stalinist tactics with their hostility to the FREE SPEECH and FREE THOUGHT tradition of Western Civilization. Did Stalin's Russia ever meddle in American presidential elections ? Yes, again and again the comrades were ordered by Moscow to support FDR . And there was nothing secret or sneaky about it. And the United States never meddles in foreign elections ? Forget about mere propaganda circa 1973 the CIA advised by Henry Kissinger had the Marxist president of Chile , Salvador Allende , assassinated . There are numerous other CIA horror stories. And since when has the Ukraine been so dear to ordinary Americans ? Some connection to the Greater Israel agenda ?

If the generic LEFT has a problem LIKING ( easy enough for ANY humanist religious or secular) the world's millions of Christians and Christianity , particularly Catholics and Catholicism , then it is easy to understand  why sectarian Marxist ( even anti-Stalinist ) parties have floundered for more than a century. How can so many devout Christians be excluded from some future socialist EQUALITY workers paradise ?      

 

           Can we expect dreary BIG BROTHER lectures on the wonderful godless universe , ludicrous lectures in the spirit of the obnoxious New Atheism ?  Imagine some neurotic Jew in the image of comedian Woody Allen as " Minister of Truth "  ?  

 

           Can we expect a state sponsored intellectual tyranny declaring THE STATE " officially atheist " - the biggest mistake of the old Soviet Union ?  

 

                    Time for dogmatic Marxists to recognize that even SCIENCE ( apart from " history " ) has become a god that failed. Puny homo sapiens will never be MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE nor master of the planet Earth .

 

  Nor will a regimented ant society  be tolerated for long by the " Soul of Man Under Socialism " ( Oscar  Wilde  ) .

For example, many sectarian Marxist parties are showing disdain for the FREE SPEECH, FREE THOUGHT tradition of Western Civilization. If you fear a dialogue with political opponents, if you are eager to smear them as assorted reactionaries, what does that say about the soundness of your ideas ? ( " Don't take the bait " ? )

Unable to connect with the REAL masses , implacably hostile to the world's millions of Christians, the TRUE BELIEVER Marxist " socialists " imagine that the workers of the world would applaud some godless Stalinist dictatorship -with ready made permanent CENTRAL COMMITTEES waiting in the wings. A true -once again - nightmare dictatorship OVER the proletariat .

As a life long independent democratic socialist I oppose the Kafkaesque intrigues against a LEGITIMATE president , Donald Trump.

LEGITIMATE in accordance with present Constitution of the United States. It is hubris on the Left to mock Law & Order .Without civilization there can be no triumphs for social justice .
