A Nobel Prize in Economics will never be awarded to an honest learned scholar who applies LOGIC and REASON to the very irrational -and evil- world of global capitalism.And whose studies simply confirm what those black balled left wing professors of Economics were teaching all along: that Karl Marx was right!
The capitalist ruling class will see to it that their universities continue to mass produce professional enemies of the working class. And let the odd balls languish in pauperized obscurity.
As a longtime independent democratic socialist I was convinced in my high school days of the correctness of the Marxist " labor theory of value". Supported in my physics class by the general rule of the universe that" you can't get something from nothing" ( conservation of energy).
Marx may have been a little fuzzy in the matter of eternal class struggle but the labor theory of value was as solidly proved as the famous Pythagorean Theorem.
