Family members visit ancestors gravesites in historic Uxbridge , Massachusetts where the Engley family name was once prominent .[ Ideal Central MA Town - Blackstone Valley - Uxbridge, MA Walking Tour - Town Background Ambiance
My mother's maiden name was Janet ENGLEY . Our beloved Grandpa William Engley , a retired Providence, Rhode Island police officer in the Great Depression years , would entertain us at Sunday afternoon dinners with his scholarly documentation of Engley family history here in Uxbridge Massachusetts. Family members, brothers Ron , Michael , Steve, sister Adrienne and Guy Zampini visited this charming New England town yesterday , a goregeous mid October day .
Grandpa Engley had himself buried there in 1977 . He rests in peace among family members who were recognized ( in town monuments ) veterans of the American Revolution and the American Civil War , one Timothy Engley among them. Pictures of us there can be found on my Facebook page . I will forward this video of a walk in Uxbridge to my blog and Facebook page.
