Was I almost swindled at the CVS pharmacy at 205 Atwood Ave.in Cranston, Rhode Island? Details later.
Leaving the CVS store at 205 Atwood Ave, Cranston Rhode Island I wondered how often does CVS pharmacy or their more unprincipled employees get away with it: this outright swindling of a customer in, particular seemingly vulnerable senior citizens? I had just bought a half dozen items at the store.I expected a charge of around twenty plus dollars. The receipt said $36.32! Then I observed that I was triple charged for plastic shavers.I went right back to the employee.Who was hardly apologetic but recognized the error. He asked me for my. ID! I said : You show me your ID!".I complied as that was company policy on " refunds".Could it have been employee dishonesty or programmed CVS swindling? This happened at about7.45 PM on September 2,2025.
