My democratic socialist friends in the " Tumultuous Sixties" used to joke that the only credible Trotskyists anywhere in the world simply must be in jail. Stalinism was the rule in nearly all self described " Communist" countries. But how could the real far- Left ever forget " Comrade Trotsky"?
