Dead soul - John Edward I wish Carl Sagan and Isaac Asimov -popular science writers - were alive to demolish the credibility of that phony psychic John Edward. I am sickened by the daily commercials- with Twilight Zone like background music - advertising his " gift " : getting grief stricken people in touch with their dear departed. This charlatan's " gift " would not withstand a serious scientific investigation. A low point in his hocus-pocus career: exploiting the grief of Sept. 11. On October 25, 2001 he was ready for a very profitable TV program : communicating with the dead victims of the World Trade Center attack. Just let their friends and relatives know that all is well with them in the spirit world. Sanity prevailed - and John Edward lost big bucks. By the way I just received an mystical communication from the ghost of Carl Sagan : He says that non-existence is easy enough to accept. Just billions and billions of hydrogen atoms waiting to get recalled to life. He just wishes he could still fight the good fight against scientific illiteracy.
