How many ordinary people are attracted or could be attracted to this jackass ,charlatans of science, New Atheism road show ? As a long time independent democratic socialist I have no quarrel with any well established facts of SCIENCE. But this ideologically bullying New Atheism cult show themselves to have a very reactionary-not so " scientific "- political agenda. They are all shameless shills for CAPITALISM, AMERICAN IMPERIALISM , and Israeli Zionism. And no surprise , many hard ass atheists but also certified scientists serve ,with hardly any qualms of CONSCIENCE, the military industrial complex of the so called FREE WORLD. As for SCIENCE how many New Atheists accept the very scientific criticism of the capitalist system formulated by Marx and Engels way back in the middle of the 19th century . Their " science " explained the horrors of the then New Age Industrial Revolution. Has CAPITALISM in this 21st century become both more humane and more " scientific " in its understanding of the evolution of the human social order ? What the New Atheists are today was known to Marx and Engels way back in their time : " petty bourgeois intellectuals in the service of the capitalist bourgeoisie " . Before he betrayed the real Left , New Atheist cult leader, Christopher Hitchens, professed to be a follower of Leon Trotsky. Decades ago a real Trotskyist , the leader of the American Socialist Workers Party , James P. Cannon , wrote a still relevant Marxist polemic titled : " The Treason of the Intellectuals ". Question : Please explain how SCIENCE can SAVE capitalism without wars and oppression, without lies and brutality ? The bullying New Atheists, like the WOKE WARRIOR Democratic Party of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, do not want to have a civil dialogue with their opposition. They prefer to call them names and count on ruling class control of social media to REMOVE their voices. Just a very CHRISTIAN question : How can the New Atheists save their souls now in the service of EVIL ?
