Passing this stream reminds me of melancholy Paul Robeson song : " Old Man River "

I pass by this stream on my Twilight Walk. It is right across from the abandoned Cranston Print Works ( a ghost of the New England Industrial Revolution. And near a haunted looking old wooden church which I thought went back to the days of the American Revolution. The flooding rains made a more vibrant flowing spring. It sounds more eerie at Twilight. And for some reason I start singing to myself soulful, melancholy lyrics of " Old Man River " made famous by Black legend Paul Robeson: " I'm tired of living and afraid of dying While old man river he just keeps rolling along Rolling along, rolling along, rolling along "
