Just months ago it seemed that the governor of Rhode island and his Housing CZAR were completely devoted to solving the homeless crisis here

These very unfortunate residents of a once upscale neighborhood in Cranston are no more able to be rescued from the shock of homelessness than the poor and destitute recent homeless residents of that makeshift shelter in the Cranston Armory . It seemed just months before the election that governor of Rhode Island and his staff -including the new pompous Housing CZAR - were completely devoted to helping the homeless people in the state. It does seem that the solution to the homeless crisis is simply incompatible with legally sacrosanct landlord-capitalist PRIVATE PROPERTY rights. The typical landlord in Rhode Island guards his right to be oblivious of the consequences of his or her greedy negligence. I hope these worthy citizens of Cranston get sufficient help fast . Who will be next ? Suddenly homeless ? Even very MIDDLE CLASS people are not safe !
