The homeless problem in capitalist America will NEVER BE SOLVED until a democratic socialist government abolishes - with the consent of the now mostly WITHOUT PROPERTY working class majority - landlord private property rights . There is no need to compensate the ruling class for wealth amassed by the exploitation and oppression of the working class. Indeed most of the American middle class can hardly hope to own their own homes well into old age. The FOR PROFIT nursing home industry will make a claim on whatever is left of their really hard earned property. It will be easy to SELL socialism to people who never OWN anything ( besides a toothbrush ! ) . When I was a kid in high school during the Cold War era students were told that Karl Marx was simply wrong about America where almost everybody was -or should be - solidly middle class. And today in 2022 ?
